Tiny books that pack a massive punch
Hi Philip, I read this and respond almost a month later.
I've long suspected that novels are too much to read, and for quite long decided that I'm not built to write them
(just like I won't design role-playing tabletop and video games).
Novellas and novelettes were still not short enough for me, while flash fiction often seemed too gimmicky.
Still, I loved the original 140-character tweet, and focus on my natural tendency towards short 4-parters, in my succinct writes.
And now, the NiF.
I'm not stopping at my current brevity, if there is good reason to build further.
But too often I meet verbosity, so I skim and scan fast for the big picture, and it still informs how I word my works.
